When topcoat paint is applied on epoxy primer in applications on metal, the environment where paint is applied and the works performed in this environment are important. Epoxy topcoat paint provides excellent adhesion, chemical resistance, mechanical strength, mechanical strength, electrical insulation, water isolation to the surface to which it is applied. When there is expansion and contraction in steel constructions exposed to hot and cold environments, thanks to the special additives contained in the epoxy topcoat paint, the metal surface is very easy to breathe with the current environment and prevents the coating from being damaged.
Epoxy topcoat paint perfectly covers the surface to which it is applied and prevents the contact of corrosive gases and chemicals with the ground.Since it is very resistant to these chemicals, it protects the surface from corrosion.
It is used on steel and concrete surfaces in floors, walls, steel constructions that are likely to be subjected to atmospheric corrosion, especially in the second and port facilities.
PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES

The surface should be cleaned from all kinds of dirt, rust, oil and crust particles. Application should be done when the temperature of both the paint and the surface to be applied is above 10ºC. In order to avoid condensation, the temperature of the dry and clean surface must be above the dew point.
Good ventilation should be provided during the application and drying period.
