Traffic Car Parking Line and Marking

Application is very important in car park line marking operations. The finer the application is handled, and the cleaner the ground is worked on; the more the image will appeal to the eye at the end of the work. However, the projecting part comes first for the start of all application processes. After the exploratory visit of the area to be applied, the area project is taken and work is done on the relevant programme. After all the work is done, the application is started.

But if there is no project of the area to be applied, then the projecting part comes into play. For this, all measurements of the area to be drawn are taken. If the column spaces are not fixed, they are measured one by one and it is decided how many vehicles will fit. Since all measurements are required to be regular, a single measurement is continued. Apart from this, the arrows, pedestrian crossings and stop lines on the project show exactly where it will be. In such applications, after all these processes are finished, the application is started and only what is on the project is acted according to what is on the project.

The line should be drawn by choosing the paint according to the feature of the ground and the intended use

With Single Component Cold Road Paint:

Chlorinated rubber cold road paint made of acrylic resin in accordance with highway standards (TS EN 1871 and TS EN 1436) is sprayed with graco line laser machine. The m2 consumption is 600-700 gr for car parks and road lines and 700-900 gr for pedestrian crossings and directional arrows. Drying time is between 1-4 hours depending on weather conditions. It has a matt and pastel tone appearance, and its pollution and cleaning rate is moderate in indoor areas. Depending on the intensity of use on municipal roads (over 1,000,000 wheel passes per year), the wear time is between 6 and 18 months, equivalent results can be used in open car parks and longer than other results in closed car parks. The maximum usage guarantee is 12 months.

Types of cold road paint

Acrylic / For concrete floors:

MMA based acrylic solvent based cold road marking paint. This paint is used for horizontal marking of all kinds of concrete paved roads, concrete paved car parks, concrete paved factories, warehouses and warehouses. It is applied by spraying on surfaces and if desired, its visibility at night can be increased by reflecting the light with glass spheres sprinkled on it. Depending on the pigment it contains, any desired colour can be produced.

For chlorinated rubber / Asphalt surfaces:

Alkid resin based solvent based cold road marking paint. This paint is used for marking all kinds of urban and intercity roads and car parks with asphalt surfaces. Chlorinated rubber modified alkyd based road marking paint is the most common horizontal marking paint used in Turkey. It is applied by spraying on surfaces and if desired, its visibility at night can be increased by reflecting the light with glass spheres sprinkled on it. Depending on the pigment it contains, any desired colour can be produced.

6-2-1-1-2- With Double Component / Spread MMA Cold Road Paint:

Two component cold road paint manufactured with the combination of pigment and fillers in addition to methyl methacrylate based resin in accordance with highway standards (TS EN 1871 and TS EN 1436) is applied by spreading on the ground with special spreading machine and hand apparatus. It is a product with very high physical and chemical resistance that adheres to the surface by hardening with the reaction formed by mixing the components of two-component road marking paints in certain proportions. Drying takes place with the chemical reaction formed as a result of mixing the powdered B component with the wet A component. It should be applied within 7-8 minutes after mixing. The thickness of the paint can be adjusted as 1-2-3-4-5...mm according to the need. If desired, night vision can be increased by pouring glass beads on it. Drying time is between 10-25 minutes depending on weather conditions. Its lifetime on highways is between 24-36 months, it has been observed that this period is exceeded in places with low traffic density. Directional arrows, pedestrian walkways, safety-deceleration lines, lane separator lines, ramp climbing lines are the right areas of use. Maximum usage guarantee is 24 months.

With Thermoplastic Hot Road Paint*:

Thermoplastic paint manufactured based on rosin ester resin in accordance with highway standards (TS EN 1871 and TS EN 1436) is a hot road marking paint applied by spraying on the road surface by means of suitable devices after melting at certain temperatures (180-220C0). The short drying time provides the advantage of application without interfering with traffic, with this feature, it is generally applied on divided roads, motorways and main arterial roads in the city. Since it has no volatile component, it has no harm to the environment. Drying time is 4-5 minutes.*Pötikaremimari does not have thermoplastic hot road line paint application for the moment. The above text is provided for information purposes.

With Epoxy Paint:

Epoxy and vinyl resin combination, alkyd based chlorinated rubber modified two-component matt, flat cold road line paint. It is resistant to chemical substances, does not change colour, has high coverage and excellent abrasion resistance. Due to its high mechanical resistance, it forms a long lasting film on surfaces. Components 1 and 2 should be mixed thoroughly with each other by paying attention to the mixing ratio and rest for 5-10 minutes. Depending on the application method and air temperature; Epoxy Road Marking Paint is thinned with 5-10% Epoxy Road Marking Paint Thinner and sprayed with graco line laser machine. The mixture should be used within maximum 6 hours. Touch drying takes approximately 2 hours and full drying takes approximately 8 hours.

Wall | Column Painting

In order to ensure that the height differences on the floor make the painted area height levels on the walls and columns equal rather than variable, the height measurement taken from a column or wall with a smooth floor is transferred to other columns or walls by laser marking. Thus, the upper level of the painted area is equal throughout the site.

Chlorinated rubber cold road paint made of acrylic resin in accordance with highway standards is sprayed with graco line laser machine. The m2 consumption is 300-500 grams for wall painting and sergeant and zebra combing. Drying time is between 1-4 hours depending on weather conditions. It has a matt and pastel tone appearance, pollution and cleaning rate is very good in closed areas, walls and columns can be washed with water. The wear time is very long in structures that do not receive moisture.

Belt

Belt is a complementary aesthetic element in wall and column markings, but the height at which it is applied increases visibility by creating different contrasts from the upper and lower colours and facilitates moves in parks and prevents damage to vehicles and columns or walls.

Zebra screening

Zebra screening is an application to draw attention to the danger posed by columns at turning points, especially on roundabout car park roads. With this scanning, the column with zebra scanning is separated from other columns and draws attention to its location. Another advantage is that it adds aesthetic appearance to the park.

Sergeant scanning

It is an application applied to car park ramps. It is used to increase wall visibility in ramps used as both entrance and exit, to determine the direction in bidirectional ramps and for aesthetic appearance.

Coding

The general purpose is to determine the location. It is a set of letters and numbers that remind us of the floor where we left our car and our parking point on that floor. It can be applied in desired sizes and designs.

Offset Scans | Floor Markings

Offset Scans (floor scans)

Offset scans | Floor scans; in general, it gives a warning, a danger or a point / area attention-getting meaning. It means not to enter, stop or park in the hatched area. It is applied at road junction, road junction and divided road starting points on highways. In car parks, it is applied in the sense of determining dangerous points where parking should not be done, parking areas allocated to disabled drivers and paying attention to these areas. Again, in car parks and urban roads, entry-exit points, waiting points for vehicles such as ambulance | fire brigade, etc. in general, it refers to the area where parking should not be done.Fielded areas on motorways.

Place Markings | Writings

It refers to place markings and writings specific to individuals or institutions, rather than according to a standard or national | international traffic sign. It is the application of special text, logo etc. designs on the ground.
